Scarsdale Diet was created by Dr. Herman Tarnower U.S. in the 70s. Can you plan a menu for 7 or 14 days. The difference between the Atkins diet and Scarsadale is that the latter allows the consumption of bread and fruit.

There are 5 types of menu for 14 days to choose from. Each of them is designed to give you the exact amount of fat, protein and carbohydrates.

It is perfect for those who like to be told what to do. Diet must be followed exactly. Not allowed no deviation. Plan 2 weeks is perfect if you need to get in shape in a short time, such as before a holiday. The downside is that they are likely to put the lost weight back quickly.

     Snacks are not permitted unless they are composed of carrots or celery.
     Breakfast always includes a half grapefruit, which helps burn calories.
     Lunch and dinner are mainly composed of fruit, salad, vegetables, white meat and fish.
